2) Launch the add-on with the button in the URL bar. If you already have an EverHelper account, log in to it. If you don’t, you’ll need to create one. It’s free and doesn’t take long!
3) Open the Bookmarks tab. If you are using Google Chrome, you should first deactivate Google Chrome’s default bookmark synchronization to avoid software conflicts when syncing.
4) Choose a syncing mode from the list. We recommend you use Merge in most cases and resort to using the other two modes only when there a strong need to. Yes, we back up users’ bookmarks – but why take the risk at all? :)
NOTE: Google Chrome has default limitations for syncing bookmarks, so if you have too many of them, you will need to reboot your browser when syncing is over.
5) You can create and edit bookmarks both in the browser’s standard bookmark manager interface and at the EverHelper website. The site allows you to create and edit bookmarks, create additional backup files, send bookmarks to FVD Speed Dial, and much more. You can read more about the features of EverHelper here.
